Large bulging varicose vein at bottom of calf. Relief from wearing of elasticated compression stockings. Mostly concerned with cosmetic appearances. Referred by GP for in-hospital vein stripping but wasn’t keen on this harsh old-fashioned method.
Quite self-conscious of large bulging varicose vein as recently had some comments about it. Nervous about bumping it and potentially rupture/bleeding.
