Endovenous Laser Ablation, Ultrasound-guided Ambulatory Phlebectomy, & Ultrasound-guided Foam Sclerotherapy

At the time of presentation there was a focal area of redness, tenderness and induration in his right calf. Ultrasound evaluation revealed this to be a thrombosed perforator vein. Thrombus was also seen in multiple adjoining veins. The most pressing concern was treatment of the superficial and minor deep venous thrombosis. Two courses of anticoagulants prescribed to resolve this.

After careful monitoring and follow up, treatment occurred once the SVT and DVT resolved. Remarkable symptomatic and cosmetic improvement post-treatment. Patient reported complete relief of all previous symptoms. He is also delighted with the cosmetic results of treatment.
