Noticed veins in this region since her late 20s but they had been getting progressively worse with age. Has spider veins but also believes there is underlying chronic venous insufficiency as has started to get pain in leg.
Ultrasound-guided Foam Sclerotherapy & Microsclerotherapy
After initial treatment there was improvement in the telangectasia and symptoms of discomfort and itch, but there were still persistent surface vein abnormalities suitable for additional microsclerotherapy. The patient did not wish for additional treatment at this time though may undertake in the future.
